Chivers Hartley are a large preservatives manufacturer in Cambridge. After successfully completing over 500 light fitting replacements in their production areas, they asked us to carry out a similar upgrade with new energy efficient lighting throughout their office areas.

They replaced 136 old 6' surface mount fittings with 273 new, modern, high frequency control gear and Category 2 louvres.

The main essence of this upgrade was not only to save money, but to conform to the latest Low Glare Regulations outlined by CIBSE LG3 Category 2 fittings.

The net result was that they saved over £2000 every year, complied with all the outstanding Regulations for low glare offices with VDU screens, and greatly improved the aesthetics of the working office environment.
